Our Story
We Saw a Broken Model. We Built a Better One.
Two top brokers looked at an industry built to protect itself, not the seller, and decided to build something else instead. This is that story.
Founder’s story
Built By Brokers Who Refused to Accept the Ceiling
The typical story in real estate brokerage involves someone leaving their firm at a low point. MMG’s founders, Michael Sullivan and Alex Blagojevich, left at the peak. Clients trusted them with assets across the country. They built a team from scratch, and achieved results most advisors spend a lifetime chasing. But that success is exactly what exposed the problem. They had outgrown the platform.
Leadership at their past firms were pushing for smaller territories and deeper specialization, building loyalty to the firm’s name instead of the advisor’s reputation. Michael and Alex believed something different: some advisors simply perform at a different level, and a platform’s job is to amplify that difference, not flatten it.
So they looked at other national platforms. Every pitch sounded the same — different logo, same playbook. Then 2020 hit, and a client compared the moment to a pit stop in a race: you can make a few adjustments, or you rebuild the machine entirely. That conversation stuck with them, and they started questioning…everything.
On January 1, 2021, MMG opened. Michael and Alex built it on one belief: great companies are never finished. Every process, every system, every idea earns its place only until someone builds a better one. That question, “how can we make it better,” still runs the company today.

Our Model
Built to give sellers an unfair advantage
Most firms assign you a broker. MMG assigns you a deal team. Each function is purpose-built to create more competition, defend your price, and close without giving up ground.
National Market Intelligence Team
Real-time market data, submarket analysis, and disciplined underwriting, so sellers can price with confidence and defend it when buyers push back.
