Since launching his career in commercial real estate advisory in 2005, Alex has continued to build a reputation for honesty, integrity and follow-through. Notably, he has helped clients close multi-family transactions in 31 states and more than 100 markets. In 2021, Alex co-founded MMG Real Estate Advisors with Michael Sullivan in their quest to deliver an elevated experience that helps clients maximize the value of their multifamily holdings.

Prior to launching MMG, Alex quickly rose through the ranks as a senior director, managing director and, most recently, senior managing director of Berkadia’s Mid Markets Group. He consistently ranked as one of the company’s top-producing advisors, finishing in the top 10 of all IS advisors each year during his tenure. He also finished as the #1 investment sales broker in both 2018 and 2019. The 12-member team operated out of Chicago, Kansas City, Memphis, Indianapolis and Lexington with a heavy geographic focus on both the Central U.S. and Mid-South regions.

In this role, Alex prided himself on taking a detailed, strategic approach to every project and leveraging the full suite of Berkadia service lines across Investment Advisory, Mortgage Banking, and Structured Capital for success. With a deep bench of talent and passion, the Mid Markets Group became well known for consistently providing a unique, multi-market approach to their execution, ensuring clients were able to achieve the maximum amount of qualified exposure and ultimately net proceeds upon disposition. In a leadership capacity, Alex has mentored many advisors on their journeys while continuing to help them grow their businesses and build new relationships nationwide.

Alex graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005, where he majored in Political Science, minored in Economics and was a four-year letter winner for the men’s baseball team. Alex currently resides just outside of Boston with his wife and three kids.
