The historical approach—while certainly collaborative and transparent in theory—is actually quite siloed and segmented.
After cutting our teeth in the industry working at a pair of large, national firms we experienced firsthand the limitations of the traditional brokerage model. Ultimately, we came to the realization that the infrastructure hindered our ability to maximize what we could really do for our clients, due to the territorial lines drawn in the sand which were incredibly restrictive.
Not only were we boxed in geographically, but we were forced to hand off clients looking to expand their footprint to “colleagues” who oftentimes didn’t share in our focus on prioritizing the individual clients above the respective transactions. Suddenly, it was like a lightbulb went off and knew something had to change … so we started our own firm, and the rest is history.
